Better Day Bernedoodles
Breeding high-quality, family-oriented, hypoallergenic Mini-Bernedoodles to make every day better.
Flb Mini-Bernedoodles (25-45lbs)
These amazing dogs are 75% Poodle and 25% Bernese Mountain Dog. With the brains and trainability from the Poodle and the sweet compatibility of the Bernese Mountain Dog, these dogs are one of the best combinations for companionship. They’re athletic, intelligent, affectionate, and playful. Additionally, the Flb generation has proven to be great dogs for many families who struggle with allergies.
Why Better Day?
My passion is to breed healthy dogs with amazing temperaments to provide the best pet for your family. Providing high-quality, family-oriented, and hypoallergenic mini-Berendoodles involves:
Testing
Healthy puppies start with healthy parents. Dogs in our breeding program are screened and receive the following tests:
PennHIP and elbow certification
Heart and eyes certification
Genetic testing for disease and coat/color
Every Better Day Bernedoodle puppy comes with a health guarantee, micro-chipped, and their first round of vaccinations.
Training
Well-adjusted puppies don’t just happen. I begin training on day three with Early Neurological Stimulation - a progressive sensory experience designed to improve their stress responses later in life. Additionally, the puppies are exposed to different surfaces, play therapy, people/appearances, and loud noises. They interact with both children and adults. During the third week, I start pee-pad training to give you a head start with potty training.
Care
I treat each puppy like they’re my own. They are born and raised in my home, and I only have one litter at a time to provide the most attentive care. In fact, for the first two weeks I provide nearly 24-hour care - even sleeping within feet of the whelping box to ensure every puppy is thriving. They’re weighed twice a day and given all necessary medications. Our veterinarian visits twice for health check-ups and vaccinations. Sleeping and play areas are cleaned and disinfected daily to prevent bacterial infection. New play experiences are created every week to facilitate exploration and socialization skills.
Placement
I work hard to match the right puppy with your family. Over the course of eight weeks, I carefully observe personality, orientation to food, social skills, play style, curiosity, and learning agility. During the seventh week, I hire a professional trainer to provide an individual temperament evaluation. Additionally, we’ll talk about your unique needs, desires, and dynamics in order to recommend a matching puppy. After joining your home, I’m always available for questions, advice, and recommendations as you navigate acclimation and training.
